Creating Melodic Magic: A Step-by-Step Tutorial with Suno AI's Chirp AI Song Generator
Hey guys, welcome back! In the previous video, I showed you a quick demo of how we can create a song with Suno AI. Just type forward slash "chirp" and hit enter. A modal will appear where you can type in your lyrics or let chat GPT write it for you. And just like that, your song will be generated and sound something like this: [Music]
Currently, the AI generates up to 30 seconds of audio, and the prompt is limited to 4,000 characters. To achieve the best results, longer prompts may cause the model to hallucinate. Here's a quick tip: use new lines to get better results instead of clumping all of your lyrics like this.
Suno's Discord Channels
In Suno's Discord, there are four channels as of now, and a lot of people are generating their songs here. However, it can be super inconvenient. But I'll tell you a secret trick that most people don't know! If you didn't know this, just click on the Bot's image, then click on "view profile" and "send message". This will allow you to direct message the bot and have a one-to-one conversation with it.
Generating a Song
Now, just like always, type in "chirp", hit enter, type in or paste your lyrics, and submit. The AI will start generating the song. After it is finished, you will see a bunch of options here.
Regenerate Button
The first option is the "regenerate" button. Let's say you didn't like the two generated pieces. Just click on "regenerate", and it will generate two more clips of the same prompt.
Continue One Button
But let's say you liked the first one. Click on the "continue one" button, and the model will appear again. You can continue your song by copying and pasting more lyrics and submitting them. The AI will continue the song with the added lyrics.
At the bottom, you can see that it says "continued from." After it is finished, you can listen to the different versions and choose the one you like more. Let's say this time you like the second one.
Continue Two Button
Click on the "continue two" button and add more lyrics. You can repeat this process as many times as you would like by further continuing the last continuation in a chain. However, keep in mind that the quality may start to degrade after five or more continuations.
Finalizing Your Song
Once you are done with all your lyrics, if you like the first one, click on "love one" to combine all your previous generations with this one. The AI will automatically stitch all your lyrics into a full song, which you can then download. And that's it!
