Creating Lifelike AI Influencers: A Step-by-Step Tutorial for AI Instagram Model Development
Welcome, Lemonheads! Today, we're embarking on an exciting journey into the realm of creating lifelike AI influencers for Instagram. Not only that, but we'll also delve into the creation of stunning AI-generated videos. Are you ready to join me on this incredible adventure? Let's take the first step together!
Step 1: Gathering Your Source Image
Before we dive into the process, let's gather your source image. This image will serve as the reference point for creating consistent Instagram photos that align with your influencer persona. Ideally, the face in the image should be directly facing the camera, like a passport photo. But here's the catch—it shouldn't be a real person! We'll create it using AI.
So, what I did was search for a face that I liked to use as a reference. Let's go ahead and find an image of your desired face and save it on your computer. If you don't have a source image at hand, don't worry! You can use any free AI photo generator to create one. In fact, I've even made a video showcasing the best free AI image generators. Be sure to check it out if you're in need of some inspiration!
Now, let's move on to the halfway point of our journey. By the way, if you're already halfway there, that's great! Join me as we proceed to set up our Discord server.
Step 2: Collecting Target Images
Now that we have our source image, let's gather some target images. Head over to ciart.ai, a fantastic free AI image generator. What we want to do is search for a blonde-haired fashion model. So, I went to the search bar and looked up "blonde" this time. Luckily, I found a model that I wanted to use. You can use that image too, but remember to click "Try." That way, you'll get the prompt and model in your custom AI image generator chat.
You can now create an unlimited number of images that resemble this model! I, for example, took the same model and made slight modifications. Instead of being at a mall, I wrote that she was at the club. You can do the same and even provide the same prompt to get a different image. I downloaded other blonde girl images to use as target images, and they had a similar appearance. Those were all the target images I downloaded for this step.
Step 3: Face Swapping with Just a Click
Now, let's move forward with our journey and create our very own Discord server. By the halfway point of our journey, I mean simply clicking on the plus icon to add an external server to set up the server we need. To join the official FaceSwap bot server, click to display the member list and find the FaceSwap bot. Click on the FaceSwap bot and then click "Add to Server." Now, choose the server you've just created and wait for it.
Now, let's go ahead and click on the Discord link in the description. Scroll down to where it says "Step-by-Step Guide" and click on that Discord link. Select your FaceSwap Discord server and click "Continue." Now, you've added another bot to your server. Return to your FaceSwap server, and as you can see on the right-hand side, you should now have the newly added Insight Face Swap bot. Big thanks to the creators of this tool—it's truly amazing!
Now, let me show you how it works. Type a forward slash, save-mind-id, now where it says "name," enter a name like "Instagram," for example. I must admit, this AI is fascinating yet somehow gave me an error after entering the name. Now, you need to drag the source image from step one into the box and press Enter. Wait until it says it has created your mind ID. And now, it gets even more interesting. By swapping the forward slash with your mind ID, type-in the ID name. So, I'll type "instagirl." And in this box, you need to drag the target image from step two and press Enter. Voila! You'll see an incredible face swap! Here's the before and after. Let's do the same process for all the target images. And don't forget to save the final images.
Step 4: Creating AI-Powered Videos with Google Collab
You thought step three was great? Well, let me tell you, it gets even better! Let's skip turning the image grid into a video and go straight to creating some incredibly realistic videos using the newly developed AI effects. Firstly, we need some video footage. In other words, we need a target video that you can create yourself, or even ask your sibling or parent to create one for you. But wait, what about that model's name you copied from cr.ai? I realized that model was based on a real person. So, I looked up her name on TikTok and found what she did was download one of her own TikToks. That became our target video! Simply download it using any TikTok downloader.
Now we have our target video. And yes, we've already created our source image. But in my opinion, the source image didn't look as realistic compared to the face swaps. So, I chose this image instead as our source image. By the way, make sure there are no spaces in your file names—it'll be helpful for the next step. Now, click on the Google Collab link in the description. Run the first cell as I'm doing and wait for it to finish. Also, a big thanks to the creators of this tool—it's truly amazing! Drag the source image and target video into the files box to upload them. Click on the second cell and wait for it to finish. Now, to avoid any mistakes, please delete the cell that mentions reducing video quality to MP4. Then, copy the path of the target video by clicking on the three dots and then clicking "Copy." Paste it in the place that says "Video Content Reducer to MP4." Let's copy the source image path as well and paste it where it says "Image2 Path Content Object." Now, run that cell for a six-second video—it'll take around six to seven minutes. Once it's done, you'll see a file named "Swapped.mp4." If it doesn't appear automatically, click the refresh button, then download the file and watch it. Let's watch it again—for good measure!
Step 5: Creating Your Resume and Name
In this step, let's just copy this resume and name it in Instagram. Then, let's ask ChatGPT to do something similar. The next step, step 6, is creating your social media accounts. Now we have all the elements we need to create an AI-powered influencer. Unfortunately, Instagram wasn't pleased with creating an account today. But I'm sure you all know how to create an account on those sites.
