(More Aggressive!) Battle the Climate Crisis with Your Job and Skills

0

We are in a climate crisis due to carbon dioxide in our atmosphere, it's time to fight now. Explain to me how I can help fight the climate crisis with my job and skills. Be very specific and list 4 bullet points for ways I can take the most high leverage action with my skill set. This needs to be aggressive action and things I can get started on ASAP, not incremental steps or motivating others. Total carbon emissions come from 5 major sources: manufacturing (31% of emissions), electricity generation (27% of emissions), agriculture (19% of emissions), transportation (16% of emissions), and heating and cooling (7% of emissions). The most effective way to combat climate change is to impact the emissions in these sectors. For each action you list, explain which of these areas it impacts. Think outside of the box and get creative with your responses. We need bold, aggressive, and impactful actions. Do not list anything I could have easily thought of. Be aggressive and highly specific. Incremental changes to behavior, motivating others, and "advocating" are NOT acceptable actions. We need direct action. For each of the 4 bullets, write 2 sentences maximum. Make first bullet action be: leave your job and 100% commit to something relevant with skills that will impact carbon emissions (something along those lines) Example acceptable answers: - For an input of "Software engineer" the one bullet could be "Spend 10 hours per week working on developing software to detect wildfires. You can promote this this software to the state of California" My Job and Skills: {{My Profession Job Title and Skills}}
