Comfyui AnimateDiff v3 + LCM Video to Video
Welcome to our blog post about the latest update of Comfyui AnimateDiff v3 + LCM Video to Video! In this post, we will explore the new features and improvements in version 3, specifically focusing on video to video conversion. We will also share some useful tips and tricks along the way. Don't worry if this workflow seems a bit complex initially, we will guide you through each step in a simple and clear manner. So let's dive in!
The Two Parts of the Process
The overall process can be divided into two main parts: frame pictures preparation and animation generation.
Frame Pictures Preparation
In the frame pictures preparation phase, we will utilize a folder text operation. This operation allows us to slice and dice texts to provide paths for various image and video nodes. By specifying the output folder path and subfolder names, we can easily create and manage the project folder. This is a convenient way to organize our files and ensure a smooth workflow. So make sure to set up your folder structure accordingly.
Next, we will generate the pre-processed picture for each frame. For this example, we only need open pose. These pose pictures can be reused for other styles as well. By deactivating the top group, we can move on to the next step.
Animation Generation
In the animation generation phase, we will use control net and an IP adapter to fine-tune the outcome. While multiple control nets can be utilized, we will deactivate one for this example. Additionally, we will only focus on generating video output for now.
When selecting the input image number to be processed, it is recommended to start with a small number, such as 16, for the context length. A lower number may cause strange noise in the output, so it's best to experiment with a smaller set first.
Next, we will use the animate diff V3 followed by the LCM Laura. The new domain adapter is also added to enhance the colors, contrast, lighting, and other features of the image. This makes the final animation more visually appealing. There are two pipes used here, one for K sampler and the other for face detailer.
Similar to the frame pictures preparation phase, we will use a text splitter for the output subfolder. Then, we import one picture to automatically set the size, while the others follow the general flow.
Enhancing the Colors with Color Match Node
Now let's talk about the color match node. It allows you to adjust the colors of your animation to recover or match a certain mood or theme. For example, if you want to create a sunny and beachy vibe, you can use a picture that has those colors and apply them to the animation. You don't necessarily have to use the IP adapter like we did in this example. Feel free to use any image as a reference for color matching.
Face Detailer for Animated Diff
Lastly, let's discuss the face detailer for animate diff. For more information about this feature, you can refer to our previous video. It is a powerful tool that allows you to enhance the details of a face, making the animation even more realistic.
And that's the basic process of how Comfyui AnimateDiff v3 + LCM Video to Video works! Now you are ready to give it a try and see the amazing results for yourself. Whether you use an animated model or a realistic one, the possibilities are endless. Don't forget to experiment with the color match node and find the perfect colors for your animation.
